SUBANG, iNews.id – Deadly accident involving eight vehicles which occurred on the Subang-Bandung highway, precisely in Pasirkareumbi Village, Subang RegencyWest Java, Thursday (17/10/2024) morning. This incident resulted in eight people receiving minor to serious injuries and two deaths.

Kasatlantas Subang Police AKP Sudirianto said series of accidents This was triggered by a Cipali-Patimban toll road project truck with plate number B 9785 FTW which was transporting stones, which allegedly experienced a brake failure while passing on the downhill road from Bandung to Subang. This truck was driven by a driver named Ahmad.

“The truck then hit its colleague who was in front. The truck that was hit was pushed and hit a motorbike, a trishaw, a coffee shop and four minibuses,” he said, Thursday (17/10/2024).

According to him, eight vehicles were involved consecutive collisions namely four minibuses, two trucks, one motorbike and a pedicab.

“For 10 victims. “Seven were slightly injured, one was seriously injured and two died,” he said.

After the collision, the truck that had brake failure overturned. Meanwhile, the truck that was hit from behind hit five shop buildings until it finally stopped at a repair shop.
