JAKARTA, iNews.id – Chairman Press Council Ninik Rahayu remind Police Public Relations has the main function of conveying facts to the public. He said, Public Relations National Police must be committed to not using conspiratorial diction in communicating to the public, not just building a good image.

“We know that currently the community is independently finding out the ins and outs of police performance. “'No viral no justice' is a term used to describe a situation where justice is not achieved or processed through social media or online platforms, especially when cases of crime or injustice receive widespread attention on the internet,” said Ninik in a discussion at the Anniversary Thanksgiving Workshop. 73rd Police Public Relations at The Tribrata, South Jakarta, Wednesday (30/10/24).

According to him, the commitment of the Head of Public Relations of the National Police, Inspector General Sandi Nugroho, to convey the truth deserves to be appreciated. Because, he said, humans must build a positive impact on institutional actions and this leads to internal interests.

Ninik said that the positions of Police Public Relations and journalists are very different. The difference is simply related to the limitations of the object.

“This is the obligation of National Police Public Relations to resolve and handle legal cases, provide clarification, or respond to issues circulating in society,” he explained.
