TEHERAN, iNews.id – Victory Donald Trump in the United States Presidential Election will have no influence whatsoever on it Iran. It is believed that relations between the two countries will not improve, especially since Iran has had bad experiences with Trump's related programs nuclear.

Iranian government spokesperson Fatemeh Mohajerani said the policies of the two countries would not change significantly just because of changes in political actors.

“The US presidential election has no special relationship with us. However, the general policy of the US and the general policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran regime are stable and in reality there will be no serious changes with the change of (political) actors,” said Mohajerani, as reported by the Tasnim news agency . .

When he became president in the 2017-2021 period, Trump pulled the US out of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement. The agreement, which was also signed by the permanent member states of the UN Security Council, aims to control Iran's nuclear program by lifting imbalance sanctions.

Trump decided to leave in 2018 because he felt that the agreement should be renewed. After that the US imposed sanctions again on Iran which hit its economy.
