Exciting Liquefaction Issue in Matraman, East Jakarta, This is What BPBD DKI Says
JAKARTA, iNews.id – Issue Phenomenon liquefaction or land moves in the area MatramanEast Jakarta (Jaktim) is abuzz on social media. The Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of DKI Jakarta Province also raised its voice.
Head of Data and Information Center (Kapusdatin) BPBD DKI JakartaM Yohan stated that the disaster was not a liquefaction but only a landslide. He confirmed that there were no victims in the incident.

“Landslides are not liquefaction, they should not be carried out during rainy weather. “There were no victims,” said Yohan when confirmed, Monday (4/11/2024).

Yohan said that a landslide hit a project from the East Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-dept. According to him, the incident was not a disaster.
“The natural resource project collapsed. “That is not in the realm of disaster,” he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Maintenance for the East Jakarta SDA Sub-dept., Puryanto, also stated that the phenomenon was not liquefaction. According to him, the incident was a landslide caused by the ground being eroded by rainwater.
