JAKARTA, iNews.id – Music group Yovie Nuno came into the public spotlight after the actress Hana Al Rashid admitted that he had not been paid when starring in the video clip Dia Milikku. This incident went viral and became a topic of discussion among netizens.

Seeing this, Sony Music Indonesia as Yovie & Nuno's label responded. In an official statement shared on its social media account, Sony Music explained that Yovie & Nuno and Yovie Widianto had nothing to do with the payment issue.

“We can say that Yovie & Nuno and Yovie Widianto are not the parties responsible for making music videos. The label/record company makes orders and payments to the Production House (PH),” wrote an official statement from Sony Music Indonesia.

Sony Music revealed that they handed over the making of the music video to PH so that everything became PH's responsibility after Sony Music made the order and payment.

PH's scope of work in the music video is responsible for the creative concept, production scheme, availability of talent payments, and all other technicalities in realizing the music video, said Sony Music Indonesia.

Sony Music also apologized to Yovie & Nuno, Yovie Widianto and Hannah Al Rashid for this problem.

Closing its statement, Sony Music Indonesia hopes that in the future there will be no misunderstandings with Yovie & Nuno regarding this issue.

“We hope that with this explanation, the public can understand better and gain clarity regarding the news circulating, as well as avoid misunderstandings regarding our band Yovie & Nuno,” he said.
