Optimistic Cipayung Alumni Ridwan Kamil – Suswono Bring Hope to the Little People
JAKARTA, iNews.id – Ecosystem Work Volunteers (RK) are again holding discussions at young people's spots in Jakarta. Discussion and absorbing the aspirations packaged in the 'Curhat1n Jakarta' activity.
This event took the theme “Role Cipayung Alumni in Building a New Jakarta, Advanced Jakarta”. The activity took place at a cafe in Pulo Gadung, East Jakarta, Monday (4/11/2024).

This event brought together Cipayung alumni, the term for interfaith student groups or organizations. Cipayung alumni used this opportunity to express their support for the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil–Suswono (RIDO).

During this event, Cipayung alumni were also committed to continuing to work together, contributing to city development programs, and ensuring that the aspirations of the people throughout the Jakarta area could be conveyed and realized.
The RK Ecosystem Board of Trustees, Arief Rosyid Hasan, highlighted the importance of the contribution of Cipayung alumni in developing Jakarta that is fair for all groups. “Cipayung alumni have the spirit of struggle and unity that is really needed to develop Jakarta,” said Arief.

“With the support of the Cipayung Alumni pair Ridwan Kamil and Suswono, we are optimistic that we can build a New Jakarta, an Advanced Jakarta,” said Arief, who is also the General Chair of PB HMI 2013-2015.
Apart from that, representatives from various Cipayung alumni organizations were also present to give their views and commitment in supporting the RIDO pair as Jakarta gubernatorial candidates.
I Gede Nara from the Jakarta Hindu Dharma Student Union (KMHDI) said, “Jakarta is a miniature Indonesia, and we need leaders who can respect every difference. “With the experience of Ridwan Kamil and Suswono, I am optimistic that this city can be friendlier to all groups,” said Gede.
