Realized State Expenditures Reach IDR 2,556.7 Trillion by October 2024, Here are the Details
JAKARTA, iNews.id – The Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) recorded the realization state spending until 31 October 2024 reached IDR 2,556.7 trillion or 76.9 percent of the 2024 target. This realization increased 14.1 percent compared to October last year.
We see that one of the impacts of high state spending is government consumption which rose 4.62 percent in GDP. This is because our spending is quite fast. Central Government spending itself consists of two types, K/L (Ministry/Institution) spending and non-K spending. /L,” said Deputy Minister of Finance (Wamenkeu) I Suahasil Nazara in a press conference APBN KiTA at the Ministry of Finance, Jakarta, Friday (8/11/2024).

Suahasil added that central government spending until the end of October 2024 reached IDR 1,834.5 trillion or 74.3 percent of the APBN, growing 16.7 percent year on year (YoY).
“K/L spending is IDR 933.5 trillion or 85.6 percent of the APBN ceiling and if you remember, last month someone asked whether towards the end of the year there would be an acceleration in spending as usual? Yes, and this was already starting to be seen at the end of October. this much and this will continue to increase until the end of the year,” he said.

Then, non-K/L spending was recorded at IDR 901.0 trillion or 65.4 percent of the APBN ceiling. For K/L expenditure amounting to IDR 933.5 trillion, it consists of: employee spending goods expenditure, capital expenditure and shopping social assistance.
Realization of personnel expenditure has reached 84.8 percent, capital expenditure 88.1 percent and social assistance expenditure 80.1 percent.
