Police investigating the case arrested the perpetrator with the initials BG (19). He sold his wife with the initials SN (16) allegedly for online prostitution.

East Tanjung Karang Police Chief Commissioner Kurmen Rubiyanto said the BG perpetrator was a resident of Kupang Teba Village, Teluk Betung Utara. He admitted that he had sold his wife more than 20 times to philanderers.

“We arrested the BG perpetrator at an inn in the Tanjung Gading area, Bandarlampung,” said Kurmen when confirmed, Friday (8/11/2024).

He has been carrying out BG's depraved actions since September 2024. For every transaction, BG gets an allowance of IDR 50,000.

Meanwhile, the victim admitted that the Rp. 350,000 he received each time he made a transaction was used to pay for lodging and the rest was used to meet his daily needs.

“Pay for accommodation Rp. 100,000, Rp. 50,000 was given to the perpetrator BG, the rest was for the victim's daily needs,” said the police chief.
