JAKARTA, iNews.id – Commitment PNM in carrying out the empowerment of women in ultra-micro business actors to be able to be economically independent, it attracted the attention of the 2024 Global Network for Advance Management (GNAM) participants who were present at the PNM Head Office.

In a series of Global Network Week activities, 117 business master's students from across countries shared insights with PNM Operations Director Sunar Basuki.

During this comparative study visit, Sunar introduced business model PNM is a financial institution that provides empowerment for underprivileged women who are also ultra-micro business actors, through financial, intellectual and social capital.

He also explained the social reengineering strategy that occurs in ecosystem financing PNM Mekaar encourage economic growth at the household scale.

“We encourage the women in this group to help each other advance their businesses, either through business synergy or sharing business ideas at every weekly meeting,” said Sunar.

Apart from that, PNM also conveyed its efforts to carry out digital transformation which is considered very challenging to implement for ultra-micro consumers. Moreover, the technology readiness index (TRI) score for PNM Mekaar customers shows a very low figure, namely 2.29. However, this encourages PNM to continue providing digital literacy and inclusion.

“Efforts to revive the lower class economy must start with digitalization and financial inclusion. “We were given various kinds of training and were finally ready for a larger scale business,” he said.
