This is the identity of 7 victims hit by falling trees in Malang, husband and wife killed

MALANG, iNews.id – The number of victims affected fallen tree on Jalan Raya Malang-Surabaya, Malang CityFriday (29/11/2024) the number increased to seven people. Two of them were killed, namely, married couple who was driving a Toyota Agya car number N 1793 HD.

Singosari Police Chief Commissioner Masyhur Ade revealed that the two victims who died were Darmo Wahono (60), a retired civil servant and Henny Cristiana (58), a civil servant, both residents of Bumi Banjararum Housing Complex, Banjararum Village, Singosari District. Meanwhile, the two injured victims were Alicia Petris Nugroho (7) and Asera Darlin Nugroho (6).

“The victim Henny Cristiana died at the TKP (crime scene), and the driver died on the way to RSSA,” said Police Commissioner Masyhur Ade.

Another victim, said Masyhur Ade, was a passenger in a Suzuki Ertiga car number N 1183 They suffered chest injuries and several minor injuries due to falling rosewood trees.

“One motorbike victim, Irwan Mulyo Mayanto, 35 years old, resident of Jalan Anjasmoro IIA RT 01 RW 2 Turirejo Village, Lawang, experienced chest pain,” he said.

All victims, both dead and injured, were evacuated to two hospitals, namely Saiful Anwar Hospital (RSSA) Malang and Prima Husada Hospital, Karanglo, Singosari, Malang Regency. Meanwhile, two small children were declared safe and brought home by their relatives.

It is currently suspected that the tree fell because the roots were rotten. “The traffic flow was back to motorists at around 20.15 WIB,” he said.
