JAKARTA, iNews.id – UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta held the Road to Islamic Digital Transformation Forum 2025 talk show with the theme “Digital Transformation in Higher Education: The Path to Global Economic Competitiveness” in Jakarta, Friday (18/10/2024).

The talkshow which took place at the Main Auditorium Building of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta brought together leaders, experts and stakeholders in various sectors to discuss digital transformation to universities as capital to strengthen their competitiveness.

The Chancellor of UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Prof. Asep Saepudin Jahar, revealed that the talk show was held in line with the university's commitment to carrying out digital transformation in order to prepare for a future of education in Indonesia that is more adaptive and relevant to technological developments. Especially Artificial Intelligence (AI) and green campus-based technology as a commitment to poverty issues.

The talk show was held to strengthen UIN's reputation as an innovative university, expand international networks, and encourage collaboration between universities and industry in supporting digital innovation transformation in the world of education and the energy sector.

“Through this event, UIN Jakarta also wants to support the national vision of creating a golden generation that is ready to face the challenges of the future technological era, while educating the public and students about the importance of digital transformation in education,” he explained in his official statement.

Chancellor Asep Jahar revealed the goals he hoped to achieve from this activity. This includes strengthening UIN Jakarta's reputation as a university that is adaptive to digital transformation and committed to the green campus concept.

Apart from that, encouraging collaboration between universities and industry to strengthen technology-based education, expanding international networks by promoting UIN as a center for research and technological innovation.
